Match Met, Impact Amplified
The students featured in the video above are proud recipients of the Joyce and Saul Brandman Military Veteran Endowed Scholarship Fund, created by donors who seized the opportunity to amplify their impact through the Third Century Endowment Scholarship Match.
Launched in November 2022, the Third Century Match offered a dollar-for-dollar match on up to $12 million in gifts used to endow scholarships for need-based undergraduate students. The response was extraordinary. More than 115 donors rose to the occasion, transforming this fundraising challenge into a resounding success. Thanks to these incredible donors, GW students now have access to the perpetual support of more than 110 additional or enhanced scholarship endowments.
It’s easy to get excited about dollars and cents or facts and figures. But the true story of the Third Century Endowment Scholarship Match isn’t communicated in data points or milestones, but rather in dreams realized and in doors opened.
