School of Nursing
This spring will mark 10 years since GW Nursing was chartered as the 10th school at the George
Washington University. During our first decade, we have achieved many successes, including recruiting renowned faculty, receiving national recognition for our graduate programs, and launching innovative academic initiatives that will shape future generations of nurses and nurse leaders.
In this unprecedented time on the front lines of a pandemic, educating and preparing skilled and compassionate health care providers is vital to our communities.
As GW Nursing aims to recruit, prepare, and graduate more, qualified providers to shore up our health care system, scholarship funding remains critically important.
Please support our future leaders in nursing with a gift today.

Provide Resources to Address Critical Challenges
Financial aid is vital to attract the top students who will make a difference. Scholarships benefit our students and benefit patients who ultimately receive their care.
Attract and Retain Top Faculty to Educate Nurses
A well-prepared nursing graduate is the result of a strong faculty. GW Nursing has assembled a critical mass of thought leaders who conduct groundbreaking research, write influential articles and books, and testify before Congress.
Support Experiential Learning Abroad
International exchanges are crucial as global health conversations move from policy to practice. Last year, GW Nursing faculty and students participated in programs and partnerships in Haiti, Ecuador, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand—but we want to do even more.
