School of Nursing

Nursing students practice at the SIM lab.

This spring will mark 10 years since GW Nursing was chartered as the 10th school at the George Washington University. During our first decade, we have achieved many successes, including recruiting renowned faculty, receiving national recognition for our graduate programs, and launching innovative academic initiatives that will shape future generations of nurses and nurse leaders.

In this unprecedented time on the front lines of a pandemic, educating and preparing skilled and compassionate health care providers is vital to our communities.

As GW Nursing aims to recruit, prepare, and graduate more, qualified providers to shore up our health care system, scholarship funding remains critically important.
