Power & Promise Celebration - 2017

The George Washington University's annual Power & Promise dinner, celebrating the power of education and the promise of tomorrow's leaders, was held on Thursday, March 23.

More than 350 guests—donors, students, parents, university leaders, and friends—came together to recognize the impact of scholarships and fellowships. The lively program brought to life the notion of "power and promise," demonstrating how investing in students makes a difference, not just to the students who receive these awards, but ultimately to the broader community and the world. This year's event included a special toast to President Steven Knapp, who launched the Power & Promise initiative in 2009.
