George Washington Society

Established in 1990, the George Washington Society celebrates the forward-thinking spirit of the University’s namesake, whose vision guides GW’s growth. Members of the society include alumni and friends with annual or cumulative giving totals of $500,000 to $999,999, as well as donors who gave a total of $100,000 to $499,999, before September 1, 2007.

George Washington Society inductees receive a distinctive medallion and invitations to special events with GW leadership, faculty and students, including: 

  • Fourth of July celebration in Washington, D.C.
  • Exclusive receptions and lectures with notable GW faculty
  • Premium seating and special access to speakers at select campus events
